NEW NTSA DRIVING SCHOOL CURRICULUM CATEGORIES IN KENYA

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA)has introduced a new driving curriculum, which aims to enhance road safety and streamline the issuance of driving licenses. The new curriculum introduces several driving license categories to specify the types of vehicles a license holder is authorized to operate. These categories offer a wider range of options compared to the previous system and come with more stringent requirements.

Categories of Driving Licenses

The new driving license categories in Kenya are divided into seven groups: A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. Each category serves specific purposes and is subject to distinct requirements. Here’s a breakdown of the categories:

Category A Driving Licenses

Category A includes licenses for motorcycles and related vehicles, and it is further divided into the following subcategories:

Category D Driving Licenses
